Fiscal Analysis
The bill would direct the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board
(Board) to conduct a review of medical training needs in the Texas-Mexico
border region and report to the Legislature by January 1, 2001.
Methodology
The Board estimates the cost of conducting this study to be $45,000 for
the 2000-2001 biennium.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
