               promotion of the oyster industry in this state.),

In addition to other provisions of the bill, the bill would create the
Texas Oyster Council (TOC) to advise the Board of Health on matters
relating to oysters and would create the Oyster Advisory Committee (OAC)
to advise the Texas Department of Agriculture on promotion and
advertisement of the Texas Oyster Industry.  Members of both the TOC and
the OAC would serve without the compensation or reimbursement of
expenses.
