Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
Most school districts are required to maintain information concerning
violent incidents for reporting under the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and
Communities Act. Some data concerning disciplinary actions for criminal
offenses is maintained for PEIMS reporting, For purposes of this
estimate, it is assumed that the data currently maintained by districts
would meet the intent of the bill.
