Local Government Impact

The resolution would allow for the adoption of charter integrating the
government of El Paso County with the governments of municipalities and
other political subdivisions located within the county. However, the
establishment of a commission to draft such a charter would require
legislative action. There would be no significant fiscal implication to
local governments without such further action.
