         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 12, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations met in a work session and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Robert Junell at  
         5:09 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representatives Delisi, Flores, Staples and Hartnett now  
         present.)

         The Committee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 5:40 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
