House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory

         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Jim Pitts at 8:15 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Gutierrez; McReynolds;  
                   Moreno, Paul; Pickett (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present.  Testimony was taken.  (See attached  
         witness list.) 
          
         At 9:50 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until  
         1:30 pm. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:36 pm and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pitts.  The roll was answered as  
         follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; McReynolds; Moreno, Paul;  
                   Pickett (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Gutierrez (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.  Testimony was taken.  (See attached  
         witness list.)

         At 2:20 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
