         Pursuant to a notice posted on June 28, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Pitts, at 8:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Moreno, Paul (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 1:50 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
