         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a work session and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bob Glaze at 8:36 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Eiland; Hartnett; Janek (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Coleman (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Coleman now present.)   
          
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 9:40 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until  
         1:00 pm. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:10 pm and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Glaze.  The roll was answered as  
         follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Eiland; Janek (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Hartnett (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Hartnett now present.)   
          
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items.  
          
         At 2:10 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until the adjournment of the meeting  
         of the Committee . 
          
         The committee reconvened at 3:40 pm and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Glaze.  The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representative Glaze; Coleman; Hartnett (3). 
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Janek (2). 
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representatives Eiland and Janek now present.) 
  
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 5:00 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
