                                CORRECTED MINUTES 
          
         On April 20, 1999, the House Committee on Business & Industry  
         authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of  
         the House Committee on Business & Industry held on April 16,  
         1999.  The following are the corrected minutes for that  
         meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 16, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Acting Chair, Representative Dukes  
         at 12:24 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Dukes; Corte; George; Giddings;  
                   Ritter (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Brimer; Siebert; Solomons; Woolley  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Corte moved that the March 16, 1999 minutes for  
         the House Committee on Business & Industry be corrected.  The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         Representative Ritter moved that the March 30, 1999 minutes  
         for the House Committee on Business & Industry be corrected.   
         The corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         At 12:25 pm, on the motion of the acting chair and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of  
         the chair.
