         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 27, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Business & Industry, the House Subcommittee on  
         Healthcare Technology, met in a public hearing and was called to  
         order by the chair, Representative George, at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives George; Ritter; Woolley (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Corte; Dukes (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chairman made opening remarks. 
          
         (Representative Dukes now present.) 
          
         The chair moved to adopt the House Rules for the 76th  
         Legislature for this and all future hearings.  The motions  
         passed without objection. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 1:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
