The House Committee on Business & Industry Subcommittee on Contingency Clauses 76th Legislature May 18, 2000 10:00 a.m. Capitol Extension, E2.010 Pursuant to a notice posted on April 14, 2000, the House Committee on Business & Industry, Subcommittee on Contingency Clauses, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Ritter, at 10:20 a.m. Present: Representatives Ritter; Solomons (2). Absent: Representatives Corte; Giddings; Siebert (3). A quorum was not present. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) (Representative Corte now present.) The chair moved that the subcommittee adopt the 76th Legislature's House Rules for this and future hearings. The motion passed without objection. (Representative Siebert now present.) Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) At 1:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the chair. The committee reconvened at 2:00 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Ritter. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Corte; Ritter; Siebert; Solomons (4).
