         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 8, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called  
         to order by the Chair, Representative Barry Telford at 5:11  
         pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Dutton; McCall; Siebert; Turner, Sylvester (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Cuellar; Sadler; Thompson (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative McCall who moved to place  
         SB 472 on the Emergency Calendar for Wednesday, March 10,  
         1999.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote: 
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Brimer;  
                        Danburg; McCall; Siebert; Turner, Sylvester  
                        (7). 
          
         Nays:          Representative Dutton (1). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Cuellar; Sadler; Thompson (3). 
          
         At 5:13 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
