         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 16,  
         1999, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Barry  
         Telford at 12:21 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Brimer; Cuellar;  
                   Danburg; Dutton; McCall; Sadler; Siebert; Thompson  
                   (10). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Turner, Sylvester (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chair recognized Representative Sadler who moved to  
         reconsider the vote by which HB 1432 was set for the April 19,  
         1999 General Calendar.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         The Chair recognized Representative Sadler who moved to place  
         the following bills on the April 19, 1999 General Calendar:   
         HB313, HB423, HB1341, HB2000, HB3377; and the following bills  
         on the April 20, 1999 General Calendar:  HB713, HB1432,  
         HB1479, HB1952.  The motion prevailed by the following record  
         vote: 
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Hilbert; Brimer; Cuellar;  
                        Dutton; McCall; Sadler; Siebert; Thompson (8). 
          
         Nays:          Representative Danburg (1). 
          
         Present not Voting:      Representative Telford (1). 
          
         Absent:        Representative Turner, Sylvester (1). 
          
          At 12:25 pm, on the motion of the chair and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of  
         the chair.
