Pursuant to a notice posted on May 3, 1999, the House
Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called
to order by the Chair, Representative Barry Telford at 4:45
pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.
The Chair recognized Rep. Sadler who moved to set the

5, 1999 Constitutional Amendments Calendar: SJR 16. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Cuellar;
Danburg; Sadler; Thompson; Turner, Sylvester

Nays: Representative Dutton (1).
Present not Voting: Representative McCall (1).
Absent: Representatives Brimer; Siebert (2).
At 4:48 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
