         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 21, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called  
         to order by the Chair, Representative Barry Telford at 7:36  
         pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         The Chair recognized Representative Hilbert  who moved to set  
         the following bills for the Major State Calendar on May 23,  
         1999:  SB4, SB382,  SB705, SB1287; and the following bills for  
         the General Calendar on May 23, 1999:  SB116, SB427, SB256,  
         SB497, SB1166, SB1210, SB1344, SB1598, SB1834, SB1876, SB1890,  
         SB553, SB1076.  The motion prevailed by the following record  
         vote: 
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Telford; Hilbert; Cuellar;  
                        Danburg; Dutton; McCall; Sadler; Siebert;  
                        Turner, Sylvester (9). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Brimer; Thompson (2). 
          
         At 7:39 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
