         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 22,  
         1999, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Barry  
         Telford at 4:03 pm.

         The Chair recognized Rep. Turner who moved to adopt a proposed  
         rule for floor consideration of SB560.  The motion prevailed  
         by the following record vote:

                        Cuellar; Danburg; McCall; Sadler; Siebert;  
                        Thompson; Turner, Sylvester (10). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representative Dutton (1). 
          
         At 4:04 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
