         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 27, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Jones, Delwin, at  
         1:50 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Jones, Delwin; Glaze; Bosse; Counts;  
                   Grusendorf; Moreno, Paul; Pitts (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dunnam; Hunter; Marchant; Wilson (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Public testimony was taken. 
          
         At 6:30 p.m., on the motion of Representative Bosse and without  
         objection, the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the  
         chair.
