         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 30, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Economic Development, Subcommittee on Smart Jobs  
         met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Luna, Vilma at 8:17 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Keffer; Yarbrough (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee discussed various elements of the Smart Jobs  
         Program. 
          
         At 9:05 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
