House Committee on Elections 76th Legislature March 3, 1999 2:00 pm Capitol Extension, E2.012 CORRECTED MINUTES On March 31, 1999, the House Committee on Elections authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Elections held on March 3, 1999. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: Pursuant to a notice posted on February 25, 1999, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Debra Danburg at 2:11 pm. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Danburg; Jones, Jesse; Averitt; Denny; Hodge; Madden (6). Absent: Representatives Gallego; Greenberg; Uher (3). A quorum was present. (Mr. Uher now present.) HB 308 The chair laid out HB 308 and recognized Representative Madden to explain the bill. (Representative Greenberg now present.) Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) HB 339 The Chair laid out HB 339 and recognized Representative Madden to explain the bill. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) HB 1566 The chair laid out HB 1566 and recognized Representative Maxey to explain the bill. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
