House Committee on Elections 76th Legislature March 17, 1999 2:00 pm Capitol Extension, E2.012 CORRECTED MINUTES On April 21, 1999, the House Committee on Elections authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Elections held on March 17, 1999. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: Pursuant to a notice posted on March 9, 1999, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Debra Danburg at 2:00 pm. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Danburg; Denny; Gallego; Greenberg; Hodge; Madden; Uher (7). Absent: Representatives Jones, Jesse; Averitt (2). A quorum was present. HB 265 The chair laid out HB 265 as pending business. Representative Denny offered a complete committee substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without objection. Representative Denny moved that HB 265, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
