         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 11, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Ron Lewis at 9:05  
         am.

         The chair laid out HB 1911.   
          
         The chair recognized Representative Craddick to explain the  
         measure.   
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Craddick to close on the  
         measure.   
          
         The bill was left pending without objection.  
          
         HB 2261 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2261.   
          
         The chair recognized Representative Bob R. Turner to explain  
         the measure.   
          
         Representative Driver offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Bob R. Turner to close on  
         the measure.

         Representative Crabb moved that HB 2261, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the

         measure.

         The chair laid out SB 115 as pending business.   
          
         Representative Driver moved that SB 115 be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:
