         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11,  
         1999, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Ron Lewis at 9:50 pm.

         The chair laid out SB 792.   
          
         Representative Crabb moved that SB 792 be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:

                        Merritt; West, George "Buddy"; Williams;  
                        Woolley (7). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0).

         The chair laid out SB 1883.   
          
         Representative West, George "Buddy" moved that SB 1883 be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:

         At 10:00 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
