CORRECTED MINUTES
On April 16, 1999, the House Committee on Environmental
Regulation authorized the correction of the minutes for the
meeting of the House Committee on Environmental Regulation
held on March 29, 1999. The following are the corrected
minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 24, 1999, the House
Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a public hearing
and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Warren
Chisum at 2:05 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Chisum; Dukes; Howard; Kuempel;
Palmer; Talton; Zbranek (7).
Absent: Representatives Allen; Culberson (2).
A quorum was present.
HB 2134
The chair laid out HB 2134.
The chair recognized Representative Solomons to explain the
measure.
Representative Zbranek offered a complete committee
substitute.
Representative Zbranek offered an amendment to the committee
substitute.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
The chair directed the staff to incorporate the amendment into
the committee substitute.
The committee substitute, as amended, was adopted without
objection.

Representative Allen moved that HB 2134, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:

to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
