Pursuant to a notice posted on April 20, 1999, the House
Committee on House Administration met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the Chair, Representative Tony Goolsby
at 5:14 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Goolsby; Luna, Vilma; Allen; Bailey;
Hamric; Maxey; Tillery (7).
Absent: Representatives Alvarado; Chisum; Giddings; Hawley
(4).
A quorum was present.
HB 1368
The chair laid out HB 1368 as pending business.
Representative Maxey moved that HB 1368 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Goolsby; Luna, Vilma; Allen;
Bailey; Hamric; Maxey; Tillery (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Alvarado; Chisum; Giddings;
Hawley (4).
SCR 6
Pursuant to a suspension of the 5 day posting rule, the chair
laid out SCR 6.
The chair recognized Representative Glaze to explain the
measure.
Representative Tillery offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Maxey moved that SCR 6, as amended, be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Representatives Goolsby; Luna, Vilma; Allen;
Bailey; Hamric; Maxey; Tillery (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Alvarado; Chisum; Giddings;
Hawley (4).
At 5:20 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without
objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of
the chair.
