         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 25,  
         1999, the House Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues  
         met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Toby Goodman at 5:20 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representative Reyna, Elvira (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SCR 79 
          
         The chair laid out SCR 79.   
          
         Representative Pickett moved that SCR 79 be reported favorably  
         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Goodman; Pickett; Isett; King,  
                        Phil; Morrison; Naishtat; Reyna, Arthur; Truitt  
                        (8). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representative Reyna, Elvira (1). 
          
         At 5:25 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
