Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 1999, the House
Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a
public hearing and was called to order by the Chair,
Representative Ron Wilson at 2:40 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Wilson; Yarbrough; Flores; Haggerty;
Palmer; Reyna, Arthur (6).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Jones, Delwin; Moreno, Joe
(3).
A quorum was present.
The chair directed that minutes for 3/18/99, including the
portion reflecting the reporting of HB 1497 and HB 1023 be
corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without
objection.
HB 1328
The chair laid out HB 1328.
The chair recognized Representative Uher to explain the
measure.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
The chair recognized Representative Uher to close on the
measure.
The bill was left pending without objection.

HB 1150
The chair laid out HB 1150.
The chair recognized Representative Dukes to explain the
measure.
The chair recognized Representative Dukes to close on the
measure.
The bill was left pending without objection.
HB 2450
The chair laid out HB 2450.
The chair recognized Representative Haggerty to explain the
measure.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
HB 1150
The chair recalled HB 1150 by Dukes.
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that HB 1150 be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Representatives Wilson; Yarbrough; Flores;
Jones, Delwin; Palmer (5).
Nays: Representative Haggerty (1).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Moreno, Joe; Reyna,
Arthur (3).
HB 2450
The chair recognized Representative Haggerty to close on HB
2450.
Representative Yarbrough moved that HB 2450 be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Representatives Wilson; Yarbrough; Flores;
Haggerty; Jones, Delwin; Palmer; Reyna, Arthur
(7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Goolsby; Moreno, Joe (2).
At 3:20 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
