Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10,
1999, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in
a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,
Representative Gary Walker at 6:22 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Walker; Crabb; Bosse; Brown, Fred;
Hardcastle; Howard; Krusee; Mowery (8).
Absent: Representative Turner, Bob (1).
A quorum was present.
SB 633
The chair laid out SB 633 as pending business.
The chair offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Brown, Fred moved that SB 633, as amended, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion failed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Walker; Crabb; Bosse; Brown,
Fred; Hardcastle; Krusee; Mowery (7).
Nays: Representative Howard (1).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Turner, Bob (1).
Representative Brown, Fred moved that SB 633, as amended, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Walker; Crabb; Bosse; Brown,
Fred; Hardcastle; Mowery (6).
Nays: Representatives Howard; Krusee (2).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Turner, Bob (1).
SB 872
The chair laid out SB 872 as pending business.
Representative Krusee moved that SB 872 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Walker; Crabb; Bosse; Brown,
Fred; Hardcastle; Howard; Krusee; Mowery (8).
Nays: None (0).

SB 1421
The chair laid out SB 1421 as pending business.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Crabb moved that SB 1421, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:

Fred; Hardcastle; Howard; Krusee; Mowery (8).

At 6:25 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
