         Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 20,  
         1999, the House Committee on Public Health met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Patricia Gray at 9:35 am.

         to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and  
         be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
