         Pursuant to a notice posted on September 15, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Public Health met in a public meeting and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Gray, at 1:00 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Gray; Coleman; Capelo; Glaze; Maxey;  
                   McClendon; Uresti (9). 
          
         Absent:   Delisi; Hilderbran None (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The members of the committee discussed the draft interim report  
         and policy options that will be presented to the 77th  
         Legislature in the interim report. 
          
         At 2:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
