House Committee on Rules & Resolutions

         Upon adjournment 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards at  
         11:15 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Chavez; Berman; Brown,  
                   Betty; George; Palmer; Truitt; Wise (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Burnam; Moreno, Joe; Zbranek (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         There was a motion by Rep. Palmer to accept the resolutions  
         presented by Rep. Al Edwards for the calendar March 25, 1999.   
         The motion was seconded.  The motion passed with 8 ayes, no  
         nays, and 3 absent.  The meeting adjourned at 11:45AM, on the  
         motion of Representative Truitt and without objection, the  
         meeting was adjourned.
