         Upon adjournment 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 31, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards at  
         11:30 a.m.. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Chavez; Berman; Brown,  
                   Betty; Burnam; George; Moreno, Joe; Truitt; Wise  
                   (9). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Palmer; Zbranek (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Wise made a motion to adopt resolutions  
         presented by Chairman Edwards to the Rules and Resolutions  
         Calendar for Thursday, April 8, 1999. The motion was seconded  
         by Representative Berman.  The motion carried with nine (9)  
         ayes. 
          
         At 11:45 a.m., on the motion of Representative George and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the  
         call of the chair.
