         Upon adjournment 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 7, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards at  
         2:15 p.m.. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Chavez; Berman; Brown,  
                   Betty; Burnam; George; Moreno, Joe; Palmer; Truitt;  
                   Wise (10). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Zbranek (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         There was a motion to accept the list of resolutions presented  
         by Chairman Edwards with the exception of HR 245.  The motion  
         was seconded and carried.  At 2:20 p.m., on the motion of  
         Representative Berman and without objection, the meeting was  
         adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
