House Committee on Rules & Resolutions

         Upon adjournment 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 15, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Chavez; Brown, Betty;  
                   George; Moreno, Joe; Palmer; Truitt; Wise; Zbranek  
                   (9). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Berman; Burnam (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman Edwards presented a list of resolutions for the  
         Friday, April 30, 1999 Memorial and Congratulatory Calendar.   
         There was a motion by Vice-Chair Chavez to remove HR358,  
         HR615, HR694, and HR704.   There was a second, and the motion  
         carried. 
          
         There was a motion by Representative Wise to approve the  
         amended list of resolutions presented by Chairman Edwards for  
         the Friday, April 30, 1999 Memorial and Congratulatory  
         Calendar.  There was a second by Representative Moreno and the  
         motion carried. 
          
         The meeting was adjourned by Chairman Edwards.
