House Committee on Rules & Resolutions

         Upon lunch recess 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 11, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards at  
         12:30 p.m.. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Berman; Brown, Betty;  
                   Burnam; George; Moreno, Joe; Palmer; Truitt; Wise;  
                   Zbranek (10). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Chavez (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Wise made a motion to accept the list of  
         resolutions presented by Chairman Edwards for the Friday, May  
         21, 1999 calendar.  The motion was seconded by Representative  
         Moreno.  The motion carried.  The Chair adjourned the meeting.
