Absent: Representatives Turner, Sylvester; Bailey; Craddick; Danburg; Hilbert; Marchant; Merritt (7). A quorum was present. (Representative Marchant now present.) (Representative Danburg now present.) Testimony was taken on the subject of cable regulation. (See attached witness list.) At 1:16 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the committee broke for lunch until 1:45 p.m., August 17, 2000.
