         Pursuant to a notice posted on June 22, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Alexander, at 9:25  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Alexander; Hamric; Hawley (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Siebert; Davis, Yvonne; Edwards; Hill;  
                   Noriega; Uher (6).

         At 11:05 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the chair. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:15 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Alexander. The roll was answered as  
         follows:

                   (4).
