Pursuant to notice posted on May 11, 1999, and suspensions of
the 5-day posting rule on May 8, 10, and 11, 1999, the House
Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the Chair, Representative Bill Carter at
7:50 pm.
