The House Committee on Ways & Means 76th Legislature June 29, 2000 1:30 p.m. Capitol Extension Pursuant to a notice posted on June 14, 2000, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Oliveira, at 1:50 a.m. Internet Taxation The chair laid out the interim charge to: Study the economic impact of Internet commerce on state and local revenues; and, Monitor the activities and recommendations of the federal Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
