         Pursuant to a notice posted on June 2, 2000, the House Select  
         Committee on Judicial Interpretations of Law, met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Bosse, at 2:04 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Bosse; Gray; Hamric; Hinojosa; Smith  
                   (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dunnam; Goodman; Solomons (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Goodman now present.) 
          
         (All witnesses gave testimony regarding the Committee's interim  
         charges.) 
          
         Invited testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Dunnam now present.) 
          
         (Representative Solomons now present.) 
          
         Chairman Bosse made organizations comments regarding interim  
         issues being considered by the Select Committee on Judicial  
         Interpretations of Law.

         Additional invited testimony was taken. 
          
         Public testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 5:48 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
