         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 6, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Teacher Health Insurance, Select met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Greenberg, at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Pitts; Sadler; Smith; Telford (8). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 12:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:45 p.m., May 11, 2000. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:55 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Greenberg. The roll was answered as  
         follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Flores; Pitts; Sadler; Telford (4). 
          
         A quorum was present.
