         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 22, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Health and Human Services, Select met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Gray, at 10:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Gray; Naishtat; Coleman; Maxey (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Capelo; Wohlgemuth (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair called upon witnesses who were invited to brief the  
         committee regarding the implementation of HB 2641and policies  
         developed by the Health and Human Services Commission and its  
         operating agencies. 
          
         There being no other witnesses invited to testify before the  
         committee, the co-chairs concluded the public testimony segment  
         of the hearing. 
          
         At 11:45a.m., upon the motion of the Rep. Gray, and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the  
         co-chair.
