         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 14, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Windham School District, Select, met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Lengefeld, at 1:03 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Lengefeld; Allen; Ellis, Dan;  
                   Haggerty; Staples (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Dutton (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken regarding the Educational Achievement of the  
         Windham School District.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 4:48 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
