Agenda: Consideration of the following Interim Charges:
Assess the merits  of the current program transferring one-half of the
solid waste tipping fee to councils of government to be dispersed for local
solid waste projects.
Invited testimony will be followed by public testimony.

Conduct active oversight of the agencies under the committee's
jurisdiction.
Invited testimony will be followed by public testimony.

Determine the ramifications surrounding the handling, processing, and
disposal of low-level radioactive waste within the borders of the state
as they relate to compact waste, non-compact waste generated by the federal
government, mixed waste, and licensing of a private or state entity.
Review policies of the Department of Health related to extremely
low-level radioactive waste to determine consistency with other states'
regulations.
Invited testimony will be followed by public testimony.

The Chair reserves the prerogative to limit the length of testimony.
Persons with handouts are asked to supply 15 copies to the clerk when
called to testify.
