The Committee will meet to consider the following Interim Charges and
related matters:
1)  Study the needs of volunteer fire departments and evaluate their
capacity to fulfill their mission of protecting the public.

2)  Review the manufactured housing standards, state statutes and other
related matters as one means to alleviate affordable housing deficits.
3)  The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will
report on the data that they are using in order to make decisions
affecting affordable housing. TDHCA will report on the steps they
are taking in order to determine the adequacy of the data as it relates
to scope, timeliness and accuracy of information.
