*The Consumer Credit Laws Subcommittee will meet on adjournment of the
Private Sector Business Financing Subcommittee.

The subcommittee will meet to discuss and hear testimony on the
following charges:

- Study the effect of usury limits on the various consumer lending
  entities in the State.

- Evaluate the effect of the federal Financial Services Modernization
  Act on consumer credit laws in Texas.
