Amend CSHB 7 on page 42, between lines 3 and 4, by inserting
the following new SECTION, to be numbered appropriately, and
renumbering subsequent SECTIONS accordingly:
      SECTION  __.  Not later than September 1, 2002, the Office of
Rural Community Affairs shall evaluate the cost-effectiveness and
other benefits of moving at least one-half of its operations to a
location outside Travis County, Texas.  If the evaluation indicates
that the move would be beneficial and the Legislative Budget Office
concurs, the office shall undertake the move.
