Amend HB 792, in SECTION 1 of the bill, as follows:
      (1)  In the introductory language of the bill (senate
committee printing, page 1, line 12), strike "Subsections (h)-(n)"
and substitute "Subsections (h)-(o)".
      (2)  In amended Section 81.072, Government Code (senate
committee printing, page 1, between lines 43 and 44), insert the
following:
      (o)  On the filing of a motion by an attorney against whom a
disciplinary action has been brought in which a district grievance
committee of the state bar or a district court has determined that
the allegation on which the action is based is unfounded, the
district grievance committee or the district court, as appropriate,
shall destroy all records relating to the action or, if destruction
is impracticable, obliterate the portions of all records relating
to the action that identify the attorney.  An attorney for whom
records relating to a disciplinary action are destroyed as provided
by this subsection may deny the occurrence of the disciplinary
action and the allegation on which the action was based.
