Amend HB 824 as follows:
      (1)  In the first line of the new language proposed by the
amendment, between "holds a license" and "under the Texas Racing
Act", insert "issued after January 1, 2001,".
      (2)  In the fourth line of the new language proposed by the
amendment, between "pari-mutuel wagering" and "under that", insert
"under a license issued after January 1, 2001,".
