Amend HB 920, in SECTION 1 of the bill, between proposed
Sections 160.422 and 160.423, Family Code (senate committee
printing page 8, between lines 4 and 5), by inserting the
following:
      (d)  A search of the registry is not required if the only man
alleged to be the father of the child has signed a waiver of
interest in, or relinquishment of parental rights with regard to,
the child.
