Amend HB 1323 on third reading by adding an appropriately
numbered SECTION to read as follows and by renumbering existing
SECTIONS accordingly:
      SECTION __.  Article 55.01, Code of Criminal Procedure, is
amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
      (d) On the dismissal or quashing of an indictment or
information and the expiration of a limitations period described by
Subsection (a)(2)(A)(i), the attorney representing the state shall
automatically initiate proceedings to expunge arrest records
relating to the defendant.
